For this project, we were instructed to use camera shots and angles to convey our story using the word "relieved" . We were given a storyboard and a brainstorming sheet, which were important tools to visualize the video. We were told not to use sound to use our project, this was definitely a challenge because sound creates more creativity for the video.
What did we do during brainstorming?
During the first day of the project, Lorenzo and I decided to use this day just to complete the brainstorming sheet during class and I worked on the storyboard pages at home. The next few days of constructing our project, we decided to go to the courtyard and especially the classroom as we believed those locations would create a great tone and setting for our story
How did our storyboard help us pre-visualize our project?
Our storyboard allowed us to see our storyboard clearly and to determine the sequence and flow of our project with ease. In addition, it made us improve our ideas through differentiating between our storyboard.
I believe that my partner and I did well on this project. We had strong brainstorming ideas about the setting and the main idea of our short film, and we made good use of different camera angles. However, there are a few things we could improve next time. For example, we could have added one more setting, such as the hallway, to make the film more detailed. We also could have used an addition of camera angles, but I also believe we did good on that part.
For editing, we used Adobe Express to put our project together. The platform allowed us to organize and polish our shortfilm.
